Why we built it
Most image compressors ask you to hand your photos to a server you will never see. For a quick one-off, that is fine. For a folder of client work, family photos, or anything with location data baked in, it is not.
We wanted the opposite — a tool that treats your files as yours. SqueezeImages runs entirely offline, keeps every pixel dimension exactly as it was, and strips GPS and camera metadata on the way out. A lighter file never has to mean a leakier one.
