By downloading, installing or using SqueezeImages (“the software”), or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the software or the site.

SqueezeImages is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. Subject to these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run the software on devices you own or control.

You may not:

• sell, rent or redistribute the software as your own product;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
• remove or alter any copyright, branding or licence notices; or
• use the software to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.

The software compresses images locally on your own computer. We do not receive, upload or store the images you process. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; compression replaces or writes files on your device, and you should keep copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

When using this website you agree not to interfere with its normal operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, or use it to distribute malware or unlawful content.

The SqueezeImages name, logo, website design and the software’s original code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you beyond the limited licence above.

This website may display advertising, including through Google AdSense, and may link to third-party sites. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it. Your dealings with advertisers or linked sites are solely between you and them.

The software and website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will produce any particular result for your files.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SqueezeImages and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or files, arising out of your use of the software or website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the software or website after a change means you accept the revised terms.
